Project S.O.B. Save Our Bree UPDATE

A Project SOB update:

A huge collective THANK YOU is in order here. The amount of generosity-ranging from complete strangers to well known friends-has been astounding. From meals to transportation to dance and lots of things in between, a community has come together to lift a family up! So we thank each and every one of you who has gone out of their way to help the Dille's.

In order to keep things in one place: if you would like to help assist the Dille's in any way: be it meal delivery, house cleaning, child care etc... please leave a post on Bree's Facebook page. The paypal option has been removed at this time.

Thank you once again for everything!

You and Jen Rock! I've got dinner covered for Saturday night.

For anyone reading the blog who doesn't know me, I live in Portland and have already sent one meal to them this week. The Domino's in Roseburg is easy to work with and they deliver. Their info is:
815 Se Stephens St
Roseburg, OR 97470
(541) 673-2222

I was able to pay by credit card and even add a tip, so all the Dille's needed to do was sit back, wait for the delivery and enjoy the evening with no cooking and dishes!

There is another fundraiser for this family going on now. The organizer said "Her family has never before recieved money and they try very hard to survive on thier own!!!" They may have tried but to say they have done it all on their own is not true. It isn't fair to all of those people who have been helping for two years. They have had all sorts of community support. This is not an "awful thing to say", it is the truth. If people still want to contribute after knowing this than at least they know the truth. If people are still moved to help, they should, but they should not have the truth withheld from them.

Dear Anonymous,
I agree with you 100%
This particular fundraiser was organized almost 3 years ago. The few of us who put it on were Bree's friends from high school. There was a Jen amongst us, but not the Jenn Silvas that is currently trying to fundraise for the Dille Family. None of us from this SOB group know her or have any affiliation with the current efforts. I might suggest trying to message Jenn or Bree with your feelings and thoughts as they are legit. Hopefully in the near future Bree will address this situation and help clear up any questions or concerns and show her appreciation for those who have helped her over the years. She has been made aware of your post.

are you kidding - more charities for these scam artists? Everyone is sick of their shit. They need to cut the excuses and quit taking advantage of people. Doesn't god help those who help themselves?
