Have a great Sunday all!
This layout has pictures of my Gram when she was a young girl. I love how dolled up she is in these pics. I used Prima papers, flowers, recycled a bit of their packaging and their oh so gorgeous bling and combined it with Making Memories journaling spots and some Thickers letters.
This last layout makes me wish I was 25 again LOL. I found some lyrics from a Fleetwood Mac song called Songbird. I used papers from Prima, Creative Imaginations and Hambly. Added some Prima bling again and the Making Memories journaling spot that I can't seem to quit using. Added a few Prima flowers with Little Yellow Bicycle metal brad centers and some Making Memories ribbon and Heidi Swapp letters.
So that is all I have for now peeps. Have a good evening!
This layout has pictures of my Mom and Aunt on their new bikes. My mom said that her sister hated her bike but my mom remembers being so excited to have one.
This layout turned out to be my favorite that I did this month. I found an enormous amount of pictures of my Gram when she was younger. I couldn't believe how happy and light hearted she was in all of these pictures. Totally different Gram than the one I knew. I adored the beautiful Prima flowers in the kit this month. They are gorgeous!
Is that Bad Girls post card not the cutest thing or what. It is the little things like this that make BG kits so much fun. This layout was made in response to Wendy's challenge for the month of December.
For my project this month I made a Welcome to Our Home sign using Graphic 45 papers. I cut out the cute little city buildings and little car and used some Jenni Bowlin crepe ribbon for the trim of the roof.
At The Design Experiment, the challenge this week is to scrap the craziest thing that you have done. I have done more crazy things than I can think of but here is one of my crazier times!
A friend and I went to see a WWF match and ended up getting booted out of the stadium and she landed in jail for reasons I still do not know! Too much beer+ two wild and crazy girls=Crazy Ass Shit!
So that is it for scrappy stuff for today. Enjoy your Monday!
#2. another dress but we gotta have some shoes thrown in as well. Anthropolgie- if I was only allowed to shop at one store for the rest of my life...this would be it. I totally want to rock this dress and these amazing shoes. Ohhh to dream!#3. I have a thing for scarves and my latest find on etsy has me drooling and no doubt you will too. I present to you FRAY and this scarf that I desperately wish I could make! Every scarf in her shop is a piece of art, without doubt. Check her out!#4. Brownie edges- John's birthday was a few days ago and he requested brownies. The funny thing is he doesn't like the edges and I ADORE the edges. So around here a brownie pan always has it's center missing while I take a week to eat all the edges and corners. How can you NOT like the edges?!?!
#5. Scrappy Fave of the Week-Jenni Bowlin crepe ribbon. Jenni just comes up with the most beautiful scrapbooking products. This ribbon is so versatile and fun to play with. I really want to get some of those cute journaling tags as well!
So it feels good to be back on the 5 Faves wagon again. Did you post today? if so hook me up ok! I would love to read some lists!
and I can't forget to say
HAPPY BIRTHDAY BREE! My friend for 26 years now! Which just sounds crazy. Love ya!
I just had to come back here and say my kitchen literally cried when it saw these cuties!! It wants them, I just know it!
I bought this cute little bird house at Michael's for only 50 cents people! Go scour your local craft store for super cute ornaments. This whole project cost about a dollar and took about 15 minutes to make.
Tomorrow the December Bad Girls kit goes live so make sure to check back here or at the site to see what all Wendy has up her sleeve.
Til then,
Have a Happy Wednesday...it is Wednesday right?!?!
This kit is definitely for those who love shabby chic!
Here is a fun project that I made for Webster's Pages that uses their magnetic Expressions board.
You can customize your own board, by choosing a size and background frame, your magnetic background and the kit accessory board to go with it. Oh and by the way, the backgrounds are double sided so you can reverse them as needed. To make this project, I simply picked up a few $1 items at Michael's and attached them to the board using repositionable adhesive or magnets. This way I can easily swap out my accessories after Christmas is over.
Well that is all for now, I know I am forgetting something..but ohhh well. I am sure it will come to me at 3 am! Have a fantastic Monday. I know that YOU all know just how much I loooove Mondays LOL
